From October 15th till November 15th, this cute little fellow sits on the window sill of my living room where passers-by can see him. As I live on a very busy road, he attracts a lot of attention, especially from parents with small children. Every year, I buy a new potted plant so that the little ghost has something to pull or push. I've never figured it out, whether he's pulling or pushing the pumkin, I mean. What do you think?
Halloween is a recent phenomenon in Belgium, but has become quite a business over the last five or ten years. I'm playing the game by putting this floral decoration on display. Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to December 15th, when it'll be time to put up the Christmas decorations.

Happy Halloween everybody!

Very cute. I am glad Halloween caught up in Belgium. I guess it didn't in France maybe because it is the day before "all saints day". I think it is terrific to discover Belgium through your eyes. I watched the movie "In Bruges" recently. It is such a gorgeous city and would love to know more about your amazing country.
Nadege, Thank you. From now on my blog will be a franco-belgo mix!
it's about time! LOL - MDR
chm, You never give up, do you :^) But thank you for your wise advice! Martine
How refreshing that your Christmas decorations don't go up until mid-December. We have been enduring the Christmas retail extravaganza here in England for a month already. It's gearing up for the big push now.
Jean, Christmas decorations are starting to take over our shops too. But first there is still Saint Martin (Nov. 11th) and Saint Nicolas (Dec. 6th) to look forward to. Do you know what these saints stand for??
