Blogger is doing it again!
I tried to post a sweet story about a very sad and lonely pig that made the headlines in the Belgian papers this weekend. Not because it won a beauty contest... but that goes without saying, doesn't it?
But blogger is playing up again. When I copy/paste my text from a Word file, blogger moves the right margin too far to the right to read the last words. Is anybody else experiencing the same problem? If so, is it just blogger or is there something one can do about it?
Please let me know, because I really want to share this sweet and sad story with you.
I am not getting the same problem as you, but blogger is driving me nuts in many other ways. It just moves things around as it seems to feel so inclined!! That, and my very slow connection, has seen my computer very close to taking flight out of the window just recently!! Diane
I am having problems too! My post today has an interesting range of fonts which will not correct. Very frustrating, and time consuming. I always compose in word and usually there is not a problem.
Diane, I know the feeling! Computers are great as long as they do what they are supposed to do. If not, they really can drive you crazy. :)
Autolycus, Thank you for the tip! I never got the chance to try it, because last night, blogger had returned to its 'normal self'. I'll keep it in mind though, as it will be useful if or when the problem occurs again.
Louise, I've seen your blog. Very kinky use of fonts!! But the content and the photos make up for the 'lousy' (sorry, I know it is not your fault) lay-out.
I write my posts in Word too because I don't trust the spelling check in blogger. When the text is finished I copy/paste it into blogger, which until the day before yesterday never presented a problem. Yesterday evening everthing was back to normal. Let's hope it stays that way.

I'm not sure what the cause is, but Word is notorious for having all sorts of hidden codes that cause problems when copied into other software.
Try saving from Word into .txt format, or use Notepad - that should strip out any hidden formatting codes.
