Lovely picture. We are hoping for fresh walnuts when we go back to the Loire in mid-October. Last year we were there just a week later. We went out one day and when we came back we found a basket of them on our doorstep, left there for us by our very kind neighbour. We think we have found the walnut tree - just hope we are not too early.

Regarding walnuts: My mum's neighbours have a splendid walnut tree and each year we get a lot of free walnuts from the overhanging branches. I hope 'your' walnut tree in France will live up to your expectations! Martine
