When we were in Etretat last March, I shot this photo of the famous cliffs. It was as if the seagull was there waiting to be photographed. We wondered whether it was employed by the local town council just to sit there so that tourists could shoot this pretty picture!
I’ll be back on Thursday with a full report of our little autumn trip. See you then!

Every time I see a picture of those cliffs it reminds of an Arsène Lupin adventure, l'Aiguille creuse, by Maurice Leblanc that I read some seven decades ago.
Have a pleasant stay in Normandy.
I hope the weather cooperates.
Have a great time!
Looking forward to reading of your time in Normandy. We stayed for several days in Honfleur after visiting Bayeux and Avranches but never made it any further north than Le Havre.
Thank you all. I hope the weather will cooperate and that I'll have a lot of fun stories to tell you. See you soon! Martine
