Chm, Wow, you do have a keen eye. Only a 'connaisseur' would have noticed that the first pigeon is a 'she'! :)) No kidding, you are right about the first one being made of concrete. The second one is very real indeed because it flew off just after I had taken the photo.
Nadege, It's actually Chm who is funny, isn't he! Our first spring day was clouded but warm. We're all looking forward to the first sunshine. Maybe this afternoon, who knows.
The Beaver, You're right the first one is fake, but when I first saw it, I thought it was real. From a distance, it is a very good imitation.
Jean, I agree. That's probably why it's a bit fat ... it needs some exercise!
Dedene, Sorry, I only spotted your comment a few minutes ago. Those pigeons you're mentionning: are they wood pigeons or domestic pigeons that have lost their way home?

Even though, at first glance, it seems that one picture is black and white and the second is in colors, that is not the case.
In my humble opinion, IMHO, the first one is zoomed and the second one is not.
Also, in the first photo it is a she made out of concrete or some other stuff, and it is a real he in the second. LOL
You are funny today Martine.
Happy first day of spring today!
IMHO the first one is a fake pigeon -could be wrong though :-)
I agree - pigeon number one doesn't fly much !!

I never would have spotted the fake pigeon. We have so many around that I take them for granted.
