Weird combination

2008: Chauvigny
This is definitely one of the weirdest lunches I've ever eaten.
Mind you, I chose it myself and it wasn't all that bad,
yet I don't think it was very healthy.
Any idea what the main ingredients were?

It looks like a McDonalds with the fries already in it to me.

On second thoughts no, it looks a lot better than a McDonalds !!

Ladies, You are very close!
It's a glorified version of a MacDonalds using grilled panini bread, steak haché (a.k.a. hamburger), mosterd sauce and french fries. The unusual part is the fact that the fries are served INSIDE the panini bread. But come to think of it: in some regions in Belgium you can buy a 'Mitraillette' = piece of baguette with in it french fries and mayonnaise ! So maybe this lunch in Chauvigny wasn't that weird after all :))

Aha - just as I thought !! It's the equivalent of the good old English chip butty with a burger added !! Scrummy !!
