I wouldn’t call him my NEW flat mate as he has been around for some years now. Although I’m not allowed to keep pets in the apartment, I’ve managed to smuggle him in and keep him hidden from the other tenants.
How come? Take a closer look and tell me what makes Hector so special and yet so inconspicuous?

Hector has a plastic nose
I bet he wouldn't squeak much if you sat on him.
Does he - forgive me - warm up in a microwave?
Beautiful pastel? His nose is a give away. I couldn't tell if he was a fake cat or a painting or
a painting of a fake cat.
Now that I've looked at it again, it is not a pastel at all, he is just a "faux fauve".
Leon, Maybe he has had plastic chirurgy ?!
Jean, He has a very docile nature!
Autolycus, I haven't tried putting Hector in the microwave. I'm afraid he might explode.
Nadege, Nobody has ever described Hector as a 'faux fauve' ...
...but you all are right, of course. Hector is made out of plastic and his coat is rabbit skin. In spite of these minor deficiencies, he's the perfect pet to have around as he is very low maintenance. :)
