So I really wonder what caused this sudden
interest in sirloin steak, because that’s what ‘faux filet the boeuf’ is. My first
guess is that there was a cooking show on a French television channel that
featured this particular piece of beef. Maybe you’ve seen it. Or maybe you can
think of another reason for this sudden interest. Please tell me if you know something
that can solve this first mystery.
And then there is a second mystery.
However, in this case I know the answer. Let’s see if you know it too. Can you
tell me what you see in this photo? Good luck!

For the second mystery, someone threw a tomato at the weather webcam ( for the looking out of my window).
I'm guessing a photo taken from outer space of mainland Europe, FRance, Italy, etc. on an overcast day OR a photo taken from inside of a plane with foggy windows. You are taxing me today!!!!
Dear Madam Puzzle Master, I'm stuck on both!
m.
No idea really but perhaps a fogged up window?
It looks like a fishbowl that got fogged up and I can just see what looks like a fish behind the fog.
Congratulations on so many readers Martine. It must have been a well needed post/recipe. I only get more than usual readers when I include a YouTube link to a relevant song! As for the picture...I have absolutely no idea!
I have not blogged for the last few months, and I have the same mystery.. my blog is getting hundreds of hits , and one inparticular post is getting hit everyday and week.. and that post is from 2010.. a big mystery!!
Is it a colander?

To all, You're not even close, except perhaps The Beaver, who cleverly identified the tomato pips :) I shot this photo because I though the colours and structure looked great, almost like a watercolour. I wouldn't mind hanging this on my wall colour-wise, except that is not the kind of thing you would want on your wall!!! In fact, it's the inside of the stainless steel door of my dishwasher just before closing it and turning on the machine. The water that I had used rincing the dishes and glasses had dripped on the door and formed this artistic pattern.
To Anne and Louise, I guess that you get more hits even on an old post, when the topic or one of the key words of your blog are the subject of a television or radio program. I used to have a post called 'la dame blanche' about a B&B by that name in the French Lorraine. But a dame blanche is also a very popular ice cream dessert. I got so many hits on it from people who were looking for the dessert, not the B&B, that in the end I removed it, in order not to put people on the wrong foot!
Have nice weekend!
